WWI and ANZAC Research

Wow Sprinters - I've been really impressed that so many of you have been doing your own research about the ANZAC and Gallipoli. I found this great website that might answer some of your questions we talked about on Tuesday:

Gearing up for ANZAC

Kia Ora Sprinters,

I hope you are all enjoying your holidays (even some snow maybe?). Whaea Alice here and I just wanted to share a great app with you before we go back to school next week.

ANZAC day is coming up on April 25th and it's a special year this year as it's been exactly 100 years since the ANZAC soldiers landed at Gallipolli.

In the first few weeks, we are going to be learning about the ANZACs and what happened at Gallipoli 100 years ago!

If you are interested in this piece of history, check out this great interactive app - filled with videos, interactive maps, and military information. It's free!

This is the apple app and is quite large (810mb)!
