Gold Coast Postcard

Dear Mr T,

I am writing this postcard to you from the sunny Gold Coast. I have been here since November 30th with my family and some neighbours. So far the weather has been extremely hot. The best thing about the hotel here is the peaceful games room. Movie world is also smashing! Jackson went on the super man roller coaster. On the other hand I got sun burnt so had to wear a hat all day.

Netball Postcard

Dear Mr T,

I am writing this postcard to you from the Lincoln netball courts. I have been here since this morning with my netball team- all eight of us. So far the weather has been sunny with just a light breeze. The best thing about today is that we won our first game. On the other hand, we unfortunately lost our second game.

Kowhai Postcard

Dear Mr T,

I am writing this postcard to you from Kowhai Residential School of Riding in View Hill. I have been here since Wednesday the 17th and will leave Sunday the 21st. I am here with Mrs T, my instructor and my friends, Brittany, Rex, Amber and Jordan. So far the weather has been amazingly perfect. The best thing about being at Kowhai for five days would be getting to bring my own pony, jumping the mounting block and getting to ride my friend's ponies, Wairaki and Toby. On the other hand, I had to clean out Dolly's paddock. I hope you are having a great time in the North Island.

Horrible Holiday Postcard

Dear Mr T,
I am writing this from home. The weather has been pretty rotten with thunder and lightning, that sort of thing! I am now painting my Warhammer which are little models that you paint up in a army then battle against others. This will look wonderful when finished. However it takes a long time. I hope your are having fun.

First Kapa haka lesson

Today we learnt two karakia to start off with. I was really impressed by the way everybody learnt the actions to He Honore so quickly. Ka pai tatou!

Te Waihora Physical Challenge

Well done John for tramping all the way up to the Sign of the Packhorse hut. This is a famous old hut next to Mt Herbert on Banks Peninsula. Tino pai!
