Museum Trip (Zarah)

Last Friday we had an interesting trip to the Canterbury museum. I had five people in my group including Liz our awesome parent helper.
We traveled there by bus at 9am. It took between 45 and 50 minutes to get there. When we got to the museum the weather was a bit cold with a light breeze!

First we got to explore the museum. Some of the places we explored was the old street, the discovery room, the Antarctica room and the mummy. I especially enjoyed the discovery room because there were some interesting things on display.

Next we learnt some things about kiwiana and went to the paua house. Inside we watched a movie how an old couple who built the paua house. It was an interesting movie.

After we had lunch outside by the fountain, then we went inside with Anthony. He talked about some myths and legends of Aotearoa.

I thought that the museum was awesome. I learnt heaps about kwiwana and some myths and legends stories too.
